Birds of Prey Museum

Ben's Scout Leader (Tonya Meacham) is truly awesome!  She keeps us so informed and also with neat things within the community that will help pass off achievements for the boys.  Boise has a Birds of Prey Museum and on Saturday, January 15th, they had a "Free Day" for families.  The Cub Scouts had been working on their Bird requirements and so we thought we'd go check out the Birds of Prey to pass off the rest of the requirements.  August didn't want to go with us (he wanted to stay home and play computer games with Cousin Joseph).  With him not with us, we were able to all fit in the van (which was a good because the place was PACKED and I think we literally got the last parking spot! LOL)  There was an outside exhibit with all sorts of hawks, falcons, Vultures and other birds of Prey.  It was pretty cool!  Inside they had activities and stations throughout that had hands on things for the kids. We all enjoyed ourselves and we ran into about 5 other families from the ward there taking advantage of the free day!
