Buffalo Cake for Cub Scouts

Just like every year... we had to make a themed cake for the Blue and Gold Banquet.  It had to be under the theme of "Pioneers"... so dad and Ben decided to create a BUFFALO cake!!  It turned out pretty cool!

The only part I had in all of it was making the actual cakes (a total of 3 of them!) and then LOTS of homemade chocolate frosting!  I think there's like 4 batches of frosting on this thing!!  I've been dieting so I didn't taste any of it, but the reviews were grand!  Everyone at the Banquet loved it! 
The girls and I made the frosting together (they LOVE helping me bake!!)  and as you can see, they really got "into" it! LOL
