In Our Family This Week... We've had a very fun filled and eventful week! I even did something for the first time in my life.... TOOK ALL 6 KIDS TO WALMART FOR THE GROCERY SHOPPING. Never again. End of Story.  Here's a glimpse into what went on...

It's been so super cold all week!  No snow but woke up to this beautiful frost one morning!
couldn't resist adding in this super cute pic of just dad and Nathan as they were about to leave for the rally!
In Our Homeschool This Week... I felt that this week went really well on so many levels!  We all seemed to be "back in the groove" and we were all very productive.  On Monday, we met up with about 30 other homschoolers at the mall and had a scavenger hunt for the P.E. co-op. That was fun - until the mall security told us that we couldn't be there (doing that activity) without prior, written approval from the mall management.  The boys took their unit Chemistry test on Friday and both of the ACED it! I was so happy and impressed with them!  And here's other things we did this week...
THE KIDS WORKING ON ONE OF THE MAD LIBS AROUND THE TABLE
Nathan's newly found (AND NEW FAVORITE) game of "Addition War"
August has been very dedicated to working on his computer programming this week!  In fact, he has designed up his first game and dad and I have been very impressed with him and his efforts!
Ben has been working REALLY hard on his math facts fluency!  We've found that he is highly motivated to "beat the timer" or to "beat his record" and I'm super proud of his efforts this week!

Spiritually Speaking... This week I was able to feel the peace that the Temple offers. I am so grateful that the Temple is literally just down the street (less than 5 miles away!) and that I have the opportunity to attend it. The peace and comfort I receive while there is something I am so blessed to have in my life. I'm also grateful for callings in our life and the knowledge of where callings come from.  John was recently called as the Finance Clerk in our ward where he'll have the opportunity to work with the new Bishopric that was just called today. Today was his first time fulfilling his duties and he.......
