Our Family History

In Our Family This Week...
* Seth had a Tennis Match on Tuesday against Boise High. He played great but didn't come out victorious.
* Our 2nd Family Preparedness group meeting at the Jenks home.  We learned about alternate methods of conducting electricity. We also (briefly) touched on herbal and plant remedies when the pharmacy won't be available.
* We increased our water storage significantly this week...

* Mom had a Stake Axillary Training meeting on Thursday
* Mom got to have some special "date time" with Seth and then also with Ben and Nathan.
* Dad took a class to be an instructor:

 * August, Aubrie and Lexi went out on a lunch date with grandpa Vogt
* Nathan's First T-Ball game on Saturday

* Seth finished up a puzzle he's been working on...

* It was a Drill weekend for Dad. He's been sick with the stomach flu since Wednesday so missed part of it. He'll make it up on Monday.
* Ben and his pet...

In Our Homeschool This Week... 

The big news for the week was our  School Room Shelves were installed!! Hooray!  Mom spent Saturday gathering up all of the books from throughout the house to put on the shelves. Saturday evening was spent reading book after book (after book) to the kids!!  It was awesome! 

Spiritually Speaking... Today was Fast and Testimony meeting at church. My heart became so full when August went up and bore his testimony on the Savior and the Atonement. I loved hearing his heartfelt testimony and what he knows and believes about the Atonment :)
