In Our Family This Week...
* Another (2) T-Ball games for Nathan. We were in charge of the snack for one of the games.
* Seth's last (regular season) Tennis Match.
* Mom Hosted BUNCO at the house on Tuesday... that was a great incentive to get everything looking all sparkly and clean in the house.
* Aubrie and Lexi's official birthday on Monday!
* Aubrie and Lexi had a Birthday Shopping Trip with Grandma Vogt
* Mom and Dad had a Double Date with Stephanie and Kelly Perry
* Dad took Ben, Seth and Seth Henderson to the midnight showing of Jack the Giant Slayer
* Aunt Janet Williams passed away on Wednesday from her battle with Cancer. She will be missed but we're so grateful that she doesn't have to suffer any longer! On Friday, I had a bizarre experience when I received a phone call and when I answered it the person on the other end said "Hi, Shandy!  This is your Aunt Janet!"  Thoughts of "HOW CAN THIS BE HAPPENING!?" were running through my head until I realized it was John's Aunt Janet Shultz!  In the 18 years of our marriage, I think she has only ever called me maybe 3-4 times (so you can see why she wasn't on my radar at all!)... Anyway, it was quite a weird feeling thinking that I had received a call from beyond the grave!
* August and Cami had a double date with Jordan Rowley (and his date) where they hiked up to Table Rock. Afterward they got some yogurt at U-Swirl.

In Our Homeschool This Week... It's been such a beautiful week that lots of time was spent outside!  We finished up the 2nd book in the Percy Jackson Series and have started in on the 3rd book.

Kids Say...
Between Dad and Lexi -  Lexi had come into the bedroom early one morning and this is what was said...
Dad: How come you're so cute?
Lexi: Because I'm wearing my pink Princess Pajama's and have girl hair!

Between Aubrie, Mom and Dad
Aubrie (to dad): How old are you?
Dad: How old do you think I am?
Aubrie: Hmmmmmm... 18.
Mom (to Aubrie): Well if dad's 18, how old is mommy?
Aubrie (after a loooong pause as she things about it): 42!

Spiritually Speaking...  I asked Ben if he'd like to record his testimony for this weeks "Spiritually Speaking" and here's what he had to say...

I'd like to bear my testimony. I know the Church is true.
I know Thomas S Monson is our real prophet and Joseph Smith was a prophet too.
I know that Families can be together forever.
I say these things in the name of Jesus Christa, Amen.

-Ben (11 years old)
