* Fed the Missionaries Twice
* Had both sets of Missionaries over for FHE on Monday. They were going to bring a family they've been teaching the gospel to, but something came up at the last minute and the family wasn't able to join us. We also had the Mackowiaks over as well and spent most of the evening leg wrestling as our activity after a nice lesson given by one set of Elders.
* Both sets of Missionaries came back over on Wednesday to say GOODBYE! Elder Keith was heading home to Arizona and Elder Constantino was being transferred. We met the new companions that arrived and one is from Emmett, Idaho and the other from Boise (in fact, I took his family's photos back in 2011 and did his older brother's Senior Pictures! Small World!!)
* We had extreme weather this week with one day in the 60's and the very next day SNOW!
* August worked bunches! We've been a bit worried with him driving so much on the snowy roads, but he's done well so far.
* We had the girls "open" their Christmas dresses from Grandma and Grandpa Carlson! Some of my friends at church and I decided that we should enjoy the Christmas dresses ALL MONTH LONG (and not just the week after Christmas) and so the girls got to wear their new dresses to church today and they were beautiful!
* Our Ward Christmas Party - we absolutely LOVE our Ward Family!! It was church dress as we congregated in the chapel after a delicious Ham dinner for a Christmas Program with many musical numbers and a slideshow of Christ.

Spiritually Speaking...
We had an Enrichment earlier this week discussing what we were going to give as our "Gift to Christ" this year. Basically we all decided on what we can do for the next 2 weeks as our gift to Jesus. We will write them down on paper, wrap them up and give that gift to Christ on Christmas!
Here is what we came up with:
Dad: Do daily Personal Scripture Study
Mom: Serve others who need my help (this week, I delivered 2 dinners, took excess Christmas decorations that we had and decked the halls of a friends house, did a free mini photo shoot and helped pack up another friend who is moving)
August:
Seth: Not miss anymore days of Seminary and finish all of the Seminary Scripture reading
Ben: Be a Peacemaker
Nathan: Do Secret Daily Acts of Kindness
Aubrie; Watch a Scripture Video each day
Lexi: Do a Secret Act of Service for the family each day
I'm hoping as we focus on our gifts to Christ that we'll have the true Spirit of Christmas in our Home!!
