May 30th - June 19th

In Our Family the Past THREE Weeks...
* Grandma and Grandpa Carlson, along with Aunt Kat and cousins Leo & Ezra came for a visit!
* Aubrie and Lexi got Baptized!!! Grandma and Grandpa gave the talks and dad performed the ordinance.
* Cami came into town to visit August. While here, they went to the Pictograph Caves in Billings, Yellowstone National Park and had a few dates out for dinner.
* We went shooting as a family
* Greg and Raena Tonini stayed a night with us on their way back to Minot, ND. We went into Billings with them and had dinner at the Red Robbin. We also drove by and showed them the Temple before heading back home.
* Celebrated Father's Day!! The girls wrote letters and drew pictures for dad. Ben made a tribute post on FB and mom made him his favorite foods for a special Fathers Day Dinner! He got spoiled this year and is the new owner of an AR-15!! He is thrilled :)
* LOTS of accomplishments for Seth!!! In the past 3 weeks, he has GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL (and even earned 24 college credit hours along the way with a 4.0!), GRADUATED SEMINARY (yay!!), had a BIRTHDAY (turned 18), and RECEIVED HIS MISSION CALL to NICARAGUA!!!

Spiritually Speaking...
This has been a very spiritual time in our lives! Within a 24 hour period:

* The girls were Baptized

* Seth received his Mission Call

and

* Ben was ordained to the office of a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood

We were very blessed to have Grandma and Grandpa Carlson here for all of it! We could feel Heavenly Father's love for us and for our family! We are so humbled that the girls wanted to be baptized and follow the example of Jesus. We are grateful for Ben and his worthiness to be advanced in the Priesthood. And, while Nicaragua was NOT even on our radar for Seth to go to - we have felt the Spirit's confirmation that that is where the Lord wants and needs our Sethy!

Also, dad got a new calling in the Laurel Ward - he is now the 1st Counselor in the Elders Quorum Presidency! He will do great work there!
