August 16th - 22nd

 In Our Family This Week...
* Mom and Dad took the girls to the gym to get started on some weight training. They had a fun time but were sore the next day!

* The girls went to Volleyball M-F. They are liking it better and better each day and say that they enjoy it.

* Dad held an Off-Season Supplementary Rugby Practice. He's hoping to hold one each month to help the girls on the team keep their skills up.  Dad is now the Head Coach for the Girl's Middle School team and he's been trying to grow the program throughout the valley. Idaho Rugby will be holding a Rugby Clinic in October and he's been working on getting the word out to all of the middle schools here (in hopes that several schools can field a team this next season) so that the girl's will have other teams to play against.

* Overall it was a rather quiet week with just our scheduled workouts, Volleyball practices, work and schooling.

* Dad went to a Sammy Hagar concert with Ryan Aten. Here's what he posted on Facebook about it: Very cool night seeing The Red Rocker. Hadn’t seen him and Mike since ‘95 when Van Halen played The Gorge. I hope I can look that good at 73! Was also very cool getting to watch John Bonham’s son Jason on drums. Vic Johnson is an awesome guitarist. Highly recommend seeing Sammy and the Circle if you ever get a chance

SPIRITUALLY SPEAKING
*We were able to go and support Ben's friend, Tyson Woolstenhulme as he spoke in his Sacrament meeting today - he starts HMTC this Tuesday and has been called to serve in Sierra Leone, Freemont Africa Mission. He shared how he came to the decision to serve and it was quite inspiring! That evening we attended the Open House in his honor.

* Dad has been feeling all of the prayers said on his behalf and his days at work have been going better! Hooray for prayers!

* After much prayer and research, I feel really good about proceeding forward with Essentials in Writing for Nathan. His Reading has exploded this past year and we're hoping that it'll be that way for his writing this year! Many prayers will certainly be said on his behalf.  On a side note; Aubrie has also chosen this curriculum for her Grammar and Writing and Lexi has decided to use Cozy Grammar and Cozy Essays.
