In Our Family The Last Two Weeks...
* Uncle Ron (Grandpa Vogt's older brother) passed away. Dad flew out to Michigan with Grandpa Vogt to attend the funeral. We're grateful for the knowledge of the resurrection and know we will see him again!
* Mom and the girls had a Temple Trip with some of the other Young Women in their class. They each got the opportunity to be a "Witness" and also be baptized. Sadly, we forgot the names we had printed out to take! But, we were able to help some other people in our Ward who don't have any youth to help with baptisms. It was so peaceful and beautiful inside and it was a great experience to be there with my two amazing daughters!
* Henry turned TWO!! His birthday was on March 25th. His vocabulary is just booming and he's such a sweet little boy! We actually celebrated him the week after his birthday because we were going to have lots of family in town - so (Great) Grandma and Grandpa Carlson, Great Grandma and Grandpa Vogt, Aunt Kathryn, Leo, Ezra and McKendra's mom were all able to be there to celebrate! Henry is very much into ANIMALS - and McKendra requested for Aubrie to make a "Lion" cupcake cake and it turned out adorable! For gifts, we got him a little "My first Trampoline" that he seems to really be enjoying! He also wanted a "bike" so grandma and grandpa Carlson got him a cute red Radio Flyer Tricycle. He'll be adorable riding down the sidewalks on that! haha
* Nathan had his first Rugby match as part of the Rocky Mountain High School team! They've been practicing since January and so they were all excited to begin their games against the other local high schools. Sadly, on the 2nd game of the season, Nathan got injured (quite severely!) and ended up tearing his ACL. So the rest of March was spent at several doctor and specialist appointments. After an MRI, it was determined that he'd need surgery - which is scheduled for April.
* Ben turned 20! Can't believe he's 20! He's been through a lot (especially these past few years) but he always tries to be positive and enjoy life! He had his "homies" all come over and spend the night and of course they had fun gaming together (and hitting Winco in the middle of the night for midnight munchies!) Ben - we just love you so much and are eternally grateful that Heavenly Father blessed our family to have you be a part of it! You're no longer a teenager! Crazy!
