In Our Family This Week:  Well, it was back to the grind after our incredible vacation to the Oregon Coast. August and Seth were back to daily football practices and their "Two a day" practices starting at the end of the week.  Ben didn't make the weight for the Junior Team so was bumped up to a Senior Optimist Team.  Luckily, they were in need of another coach so John is coaching Ben's team.  They practiced everyday from 6-8pm. Ben had gotten hurt while Boogie boarding at the coast and was having quite a bit of pain during practices.  To help him out, we had him go to both a massage therapist and a chiropractor (thankfully both had no out of pocket expenses as I had done photography trades with both professionals). That seemed to do the trick and he was back to running within a couple of days.  The van was having some major troubles and couldn't keep a charge on the battery.  After a trip to O'Reiley's it was determined that BOTH the battery AND the Alternaotr (which had both just been replaced within this past year) were both bad and needed replacing.  Thankfully, they were still both under warrantry.  However, after replacing them the "Check Charging System" light has been on - so not exactly sure what's going on.  All I know is that it doesn't die on me each time I turn it off! :)  On Saturday, I was the photographer for a wedding in downtown Boise for Natalie Konewko and her new husband, Kalder. After the wedding, I met up with Jamie Seeley (my 1st Counselor in YW) at Chili's and visited with her for a bit.  Saturday was also the day that John had been invited to attend a "New Release" party for a company launching a new BSU clothing line.  They wanted him to come as "Blue Elvis" which he did.  He received one of the new shirts for compensation.

In Our Homeschool This Week:  I've been doing LOTS of preparation for the new school year!  I probably spent 30+ hours this week researching and getting a curriculum solidified. The girls have been doing Art each and every day and we have continued doing TRI drills together.  I've also been doing the TRI drills with Nathan as well.

My Favorite Thing This Week: I'll tell you what it wasn't ---- Spending upwards of 3 hours a day driving the boys to football practices!
