Here's a recap of our month...
* Seth had a birthday on June 14th and turned 15!
* Mom went to girls camp from June 18-22nd
(pics will be inserted soon!)
* Dad had Annual Training with the Army starting on June 1st thru June 18th
* Grandma & Grandpa Carlson and cousin Joseph came to visit! They arrived on Monday, June 24th and left on Friday, July 5th. As always, the days just flew by and before we knew it, our time of visiting had come to an end! We did quite a bit of family stuff and built lots of memories! We went to a couple of movies (on their cheap $1 kids day) we saw The Croods and Mr. Poppers Penguins. We also did the following fun things:

* We had a BBQ where several neighbors and friends joined us for the celebrating!
* John took all of the boys (including cousin Joseph) out to float the Boise River!
* All of the boys met up with Brent and some of his family members and they spent the morning shooting...
* We had some injuries throughout the month - some more serious than others!
* And we've also been persuing an out of state job!
KIDS SAY...
Lexi came up to mom and told her that she needed the medicine to help her head feel better AND the Alligator. Mom couldn't fathom what she needed with an "Alligator" and so repeated it back to Lexi to make sure that she had heard right... Yes, Lexi declared that she needed her "Medicine and the Alligator - to wash the medicine down with." That's when it hit mom...
She meant her GATORADE drink she'd been using to get the medicine down!
SPIRITUALLY SPEAKING... I must say that is was so super nice to attend the Temple with my mom and dad! I really enjoyed that! While in the Temple, I got the feeling that big changes were coming (soon!) and that I needed to be more spiritually prepared for them... Since then, I have rededicated myself to journaling with my scripture study and truly making time for the Lord. It has also been quite the experience of getting our answers from the Lord about if we should persue another job for John. It is so amazing that we can receive our own personal revelation from God and to know what he would have us do!
