In Our Family This Week...
* We had the Missionaries over for dinner
* Grandma Carlson's birthday and we made a video for her
* Mom had Lunch Bunch with the Relief Society Sisters
* August worked 4 days
* Mom went Visiting Teaching
* It was EXTREMELY cold this week
* Mom, Dad and August all spoke in church this week (August on Family and mom and dad on Gratitude)
* Saturday night we got a call from the Veazey's asking if they could take us out for dinner & pie - of course we said YES! They then asked if we were still interested in renting their place. We told them we were and then continued to discuss all of the numbers. They were very generous to us and we told them that we needed to pray about it and would let them know within a day or two... After praying and discussing all of the pros and cons we felt it would be the best thing for family to move into their place! we are all so excited! After church, we took all of the kids over to check it out and it's unanimous... we can't wait!
* Did some Christmas shopping (mostly online)
* Not a whole lot of pictures were taken this week... but I do have some cute ones of the kids I want to remember :)
In Our Homeschool This Week...
(again, not a whole of pictures were taken this week... I'll need to remember to keep the camera more handy!)
*Studied the 3rd Article of Faith
* Movie Making for August
* Lots of reading with the 3 little ones
* Fractions and simplifying fractions with Ben
* Some fun, hands-on Science
Spiritually Speaking...
While prepping for my talk this week, I read lots (and lots) of different conference talks! I read one from Henry B. Eyring where he talked about how he kept a daily journal documenting things of how he saw Heavenly Fathers hand in his life. He said it was a great reminder to be grateful each day for all that we've been given. I was really inspired by that and thought I could certainly add in a few things here each week...
* the Veazey's calling us back to offer the house to us
* Our Current Property Management sticking to what they originally told us
* Finding some incredible Pre-Black Friday shopping deals!
* Being reminded to use EBates.com (where I earned over $30 cash back!)
* Being able to give my talk and not be too nervous
