* Thanksgiving! We had Heidy and Tony come in from Williston, ND Wednesday night and they stayed until Sunday.
* A double date with mom/dad and Tony/Heidy. We drove out to the Veazey home (that we'll be renting in January) and looked around the property. They thought it would be an awesome place to live. We then went to the Mall and did a little bit of shopping at Target (Heidy helped mom get some new make up) and then we watched Catching Fire at the theater.
* Aunt Heidy's newest passion is for make up... mom and the girls had fun with Heidy playing with their faces!
* Mom took Heidy and Tony's engagement photos while they were here. We went to the Scandinavian Park here in Minot and then took a few in the field out behind our house...
* Was able to get some (online) black Friday shopping done this week...
* We took an impromptu family photo (mainly for Grandpa Vogt's Christmas letter) but mom was super excited to have another picture with the whole family in it!
With Thanksgiving this week, it's certainly a time for us to reflect and be grateful for all that we have been blessed with. Heavenly Father truly loves us all and blessed and us abundantly! Continuing on with writing down "Tender Mercies" from the week:
* The boys were kept safe while staying the night (dog sitting) at the Tonini's home
* The boys made some fun memories together and they were having fun (and not fighting)
* We were all well and healthy
* Thanksgiving dinner went off without too much incident (the marshmallows got a bit burned on the Sweet potatoes!)
* Waking up early to get in personal scripture study
