* August started Football practice with Des Lacs Burlington High School. There are 14 boys on the varsity team (and they play 11 man teams so everyone will get lots of playing time!)
* Mom finalized all things to start teaching school on Monday
* We got the house "ready" and cleaned to be ready for school
* Mom took Ben and Nathan to Fargo for Dyslexia Testing
* Dad and Mike VanBibber drove all night to a bike race in South Dakota
Kids Say...
One of my favorite times of year happened this week -- Father's Blessings for each of the kids to start back to school! I usually am frantically writing (the little bit of shorthand that I remember from college) but this year I realized that I could just use the voice recorder on my phone and then relax and enjoy them... and that's exactly what I did! I need to now go back and transpose them and print them up for each child. I'm so grateful for dad who is a righteous Priesthood holder and can give us blessings of guidance and direction throughout our lives!
