In Our Homeschool This Week...
* The weather turned HOT again, and so we took to schooling outdoors for most of the week!
* August is still working strong on programming his game
* We started a new Read Aloud - Midnight Zoo
* The girls were interested in the Box Elder Bugs that were on our front porch and so we did a short study of them and found out all sorts of interesting facts!

Kids Say...

Spiritually Speaking...
I love the Primary Program that is put on each year by the kids of the church! Today was no exception... I loved it! Aubrie, Lexi and Nathan all had their parts memorized and that was so cool to see them get up and recite it! This years theme was "Families are Forever" and it just made me so happy that we CAN be together forever! The songs they sang were beautiful and full of their sweet testimonies! My heart was especially touched when they sang the song "Baptism" and Jordan Robbins sang part of the verse as a solo... the Spirit bore testimony to me that what they were singing actually happened all those years ago in the river Jordan. I was also happy that Grandma and Grandpa Vogt were able to attend with us - I know it meant a lot to the kids to have them there!
