* After 3 full weeks of sickness (we're talking fevers for days! sore throats for weeks! coughing, ear aches, stuffy noses, headaches and everything else miserable you can think of!) we are all finally healthy!!! Yay!!! All 8 of us went to church together for the first time all month!!
* Lots of Football! Practices & Games for the boys plus attending a Minot State Game and watching BSU & Steelers games on TV each week!
* BIRTHDAYS!! Nathan turned 8 on the 15th and Dad turned the big 40 on Sept. 21st
* Mom went Visiting Teaching
* Mom dusted off her "working shoes" and did a High School Senior photo shoot!!
* Tony and Heidy came for the weekend to help celebrate dad's birthday
* Seth attended the Trek Fireside where they showed the photos from Trek and reunited families!
In Our Homeschool...
* Finished up our Founding Fathers Unit Study
* All About Reading with the Girls is still going fantastic!
* All About Spelling is going great with Ben!
* Lively Letters is still going strong and working wonders for Nathan!
Spiritually Speaking...
With our in depth study of how our Nation came to be, there is no doubt in my mind that Heavenly Father truly had his hand involved! I know that he needed a free nation that would be home to the restored gospel and inspired these men on being the Founders of our country! Also, just like how Lexi was touched by the story of Francis Scott Key, so was I! What an inspiring story on how we got our National Anthem!
