* Mom and Dad have been sick :(
* Fed the Sister Missionaries along with our neighbor, Vivian Veazey
* August had his last football game of the season
In Our Homeschool This Week...
* It was a pretty light week with mom in bed most of the week - however, it was nice to just snuggle and reconnect with the kids as we watched shows and did our lessons in our PJ's!
* August and Seth both got A's on their English papers! And they both did good on their History Test :)
* "Sewing 101" began and the girls loved it! Many more projects are on the horizon!
Sadly, I have felt my glass "half empty" on the Spiritual side of things this week. I then quickly realized that with me being sick, the little energy I had to "school" the kids was spent solely on the academics part of things and our daily Enrichments were completely ignored. I have felt that lack of daily rejuvenations and teaching the kids of eternal principles and truthfully, I don't like it. I like having the power that comes to me and fills our home when we put Heavenly Father first. I like the connection the kids and I have when we talk of Christ and learn of Christ and rejoice in Christ. This week will be better and I have all of my Enrichment lessons ready to go! There truly is a power that comes into our lives when we follow Him!
