Kids Say...
Spiritually Speaking...
What a difference a week makes! Especially when that week is filled with uplifting and worthwhile things! I made sure that I was able to get (at least) one Conference Talk in + my Personal Scripture Study each morning and that just set the tone for my whole day! Plus, being diligent on our daily Enrichments really helped as well. There was less fighting and more playing nicely with each other and kinder words. One of the Conference Talks I listened to was on the Sacrament (the kids decided to join me on that one) and we ended up having a really great discussion about the Atonement and the importance of taking the Sacrament. That topic took us to being Grateful for Jesus and for all he did for us (and how it is a matchless gift and the way we can Thank him, is by being obedient and following His example). I thought that was a great way to kick off the Thanksgiving Season - by being grateful to the Savior!
