* Ben was gone to Scout camp from the 13th - 20th in Minnesota. He had a fabulous time and earned quite a few merit badges! He came home in one piece and captivated the scouts each night around the fire with him amazing storytelling!
* Mom working away at KonMari'ing the house! Slowly but surely it's coming along!
* The 3 youngest kids started T-Ball. It's pretty lowkey (which we love!) and there are no practices - just 2 games a week (on Monday and Wednesday afternoons). They are all on the same team and are having a great time!
* Dad has taken over the Rain For Rent Branch in Dickenson, ND for the time being. He will be spending Tuesday and Wednesday of each week down there (about 3 hours SouthWest of Minot)
* Father's Day! Dad had requested Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes for his dinner. At church that day, I noticed our friends had made it back from their vacation a day early and thought they probably hadn't had time to go to the grocery store to replenish their food and so asked if they'd like to join us for a joint Father's Day Dinner! They gladly accepted and were so grateful. We spent the evening chatting, having the younger ones put on "shows and plays" for us, leg wars and wrestling!
* Seth turned 17! (side note: the text tool stopped working in photoshop and after spending literally hours trying to repair it, I still was unsuccessful and so I'll just type here what I was going to add to the photo below! and thankfully this was the final photo I was editing!) His birthday fell on a Sunday and so we started off with a requested birthday breakfast of French Toast Bake! We then got all ready for church and while there invited the youth who were there (many of them were gone to Scout Camp) to stop in for some cake and ice cream later that night. We had about 25 people in attendance and we all had a blast celebrating SETH!!
