* Dad, August and Seth all headed out for a 5 day Canoe trip for High Adventure with the YM
* Mom spent the week decluttering and it was all worth it when the boys got home and Dad said that it "looked like a hotel and he couldn't find a single thing out of place!"
* Mom and the younger kids went to see the Minion Movie
* The kids all had a playdate with the Newman kids
* Ben went over to the Clarks to help them pack up
* Mom went to a "Going Away Dinner" for Catherine Clark, Janet Brown and Jalene Foisy. With the oil prices dropping, many of our friends have been moving away :(
* The kids had their final T-Ball game. They invited Holly and Vivian to come and watch them (which they did!)
* Ben had Teagan over several times
* Aubrie lost another tooth - she got $3 from the Tooth Fairy.
In Our Homeschool This Week...
* While we aren't officially "doing school" - there has been lots of learning going on!
* Ben has spent the majority of the summer writing! He spends time each day writing!
* Nathan worked on writing his numbers
* The girls and Mom spent a morning doing all sorts of Magic School Bus Experiments with ELECTRICITY! We learned all about Conductors and Insulators and what household materials were in each category. All about Opened and Closed Circuits and we learned how a light switch works!
* We've played math games (Flip 4 and Multiplication Bingo)
* The girls also wrote stories and did lots of art!
* Ben, Nathan and the girls did some more adventuring this week (which included moving the tramp next to the house and jumping off of the roof onto it! Mom quickly put a stop to that one!)
* The girls and Nathan also did some spray paint art (mixed with Nature Study -- they collected rocks, sticks and even some apples from the apple trees and spray painted them).
