* Dad worked in Gillette
* We fed the Missionaries
* Ben had his friend, Cale, come hang out
* Ben concluded a 3 week challenge from the Bishop to be "Phone Free"
* Brent Coburn's mom passed away and so we made a trip to Idaho to attend the funeral
* While in Idaho, we were able to see some friends as well as enjoy the Vogt family!
* Dad's truck is still in the shop - new estimate is that it will be another 2+ weeks!
In Our Homeschool...
* Enrichments: scriptures, singing, Philippians 4:13, Scripture memorization, Bible stories
* Math: games, fractions, multiplication, word problems, probability, reviewing addition, subtraction
* English/Reading: independent reading, All About Reading (Nathan), Super Speed 100, scripture reading, handwriting
* History: Ancient Egypt! Presidential Facts, Current Events
* Character Building: Work, Dependability and Obedience (using the Standin' Tall tapes)
* Science: The Science of Cute! How things are made, Baking and baking challenges
* Art: hours of crafting!!!
* PE: going to the gym (Ben) and Irish Dancing (girls), snow shoveling!
* Went to the Billings Library
* Listened to Audio Books
Seth Spotlight...
* Has 10 people on date for Baptism
* Had 2 Baptisms
* Had a Multi-Zone Reunion
* Got a new companion - Elder Lemus from Guatemala (he speaks no English but Seth is OK with that as he is feeling much more confident in his Spanish! Yay!)
Spiritually Speaking...
Blessings we've seen:
* We made it home safely from Idaho! That was some serious white-knuckled driving (and dad's hands kept falling asleep because he was gripping the steering wheel so tightly!)
* All was found safe upon returning home to Montana
* Bishop issued a challenge to Ben to go 3 weeks without his phone - and he did it with flying colors!! He said he felt so much more productive and involved with life! Our Bishop is really a neat man who has taken such interest in all of our family members (especially Ben!) and that has made a big impact on Ben!
* Feeling the peacefulness of the Temple!
* Going shopping with a gift card from Christmas and finding that the store had all of their Clearance marked down with an additional 50% off!
* Knowing the Plan of Salvation and the comfort it brings - especially in times when loved ones pass
* Attending Sacrament meeting in Idaho and having 2 recently returned missionaries report on their Missions - that was wonderful! and words they said were relevant to Ben and I think it was great for him to hear!
