Spiritually Speaking...
* I love how we can gain personal revelation for questions that we have! I love the knowledge of a loving Heavenly Father who knows each of us personally and is there to help us in life. I love that the Temple is a place where we can go to feel the peace and comfort of the Spirit. I love that the Temple is so accessible to us here in Billings! I'm thankful for a worthy Priesthood holder in dad that can take me there. I'm glad that we have taken time each of the last 2 Saturdays to spend time there!

* Mom is now teaching the Valiant 8 Class (the kids that are 8/9 years old) for Sunday School. Happy Part = Aubrie and Lexi are in the class! Not so happy part = LOTS of disrespect and rowdiness from several of the boys. The last 2 weeks, I have come home from church feeling defeated and a bit sad. So I've been praying about what I could do to help the reverence and behavior in the class. I even called their teacher from last year and asked what she found worked (she wasn't too helpful and said that she would bribe them each week with snacks! haha)... While I think a little bribery can be effective, I didn't want to be in the situation where I had to bring/make/bake/buy snacks for the class each week and plus I feel like they are old enough to be able to behave without a weekly treat. Soooo... as I've been praying a few things came to mind:

1. We needed to establish some class rules and consequences
2. Incorporate Kinesthetic learning and more games/movement during class
3. Separate the boys and girls by sitting Boy/Girl/Boy/Girl
4. Do a sticker reward chart. They can earn up to 3 stickers a week and once they fill up their whole chart (30 stickers) then I will make them their favorite treat and deliver it to their house. They receive 1 sticker just for coming (as I wanted them to be excited to come), 1 for being good/following the rules they made during class time and then another 1 for being reverent during Sharing Time.

Today, we created our class rules, played a game to review what we learned in class and I introduced them to the Sticker charts and.... today went so wonderfully! I felt very grateful for how well things went! Here's a picture of the charts I created...
