March 6th - 12th

In Our Family This Week...
* Dad went to Gillette from Monday-Wednesday
* We had an overnight guest (Liam Thrailkill from Minot) on Thursday as he was pass through on his way to Utah
* Mom got sick (What!?) Was in Bed from Thursday night until Saturday morning
* Deep cleaned some closets
* Ben had Cale over Friday and Saturday nights
* Girls made another YouTube video
* We had some more snow! It was big, fluffy flakes and made everything so beautiful!
* Did some shooting off of the back deck
* Aubrie and Lexi had Dentist Appointments. Both were cavity free - yay!

Seth Spotlight...
* His new area is Poneloya in the Zone Leon. His house literally opens up onto the beach - and it has running water!
* They have some lofty goals for the month but Missionary work is pretty difficult in his area as most people are there on vacation and aren't interested in visiting with the Missionaries
* The weather in Leon is more hot and less humid than Managua
* He sent home some beautiful pictures of his new area

Spiritually Speaking...
President Russell M.Nelson gave a challenge to:
1. Study everything Jesus SAID and DID in the Old Testament
2. Study His LAWS as recorded in the New Testament
3. Study His DOCTRINE as recorded in the Book of Mormon
4. Study His WORDS in the Doctrine and Covenants

He promised that as we took the time to study these verses, that our Love for Christ and for God's Laws would grow beyond what we could currently imagine.

I have been taking on this challenge and can already feel my testimony increase of the Savior.  This week most of my studying was about how Christ is our Advocate unto the Father. It has been strengthening my testimony of how much Heavenly Father loves us! He WANTS ALL of his children to return to His presence and he knew that wouldn't be possible without a Savior. Christ has the power to make intercession for each one of us - to be OUR Advocate and plead before the Father on our behalf that He has already paid the price for our sins. All because He LOVES us so much!
