Kids Say... This is a new "section" I've decided to add to the weekly blog where I can document (and subsequently remember) the cute and funny things the kids say.
This week I was reading a book to Aubrie where one of the main charachters was a Goat. There was a passage in the book, where the Goat bleated, so of course I did a great impression of a goat Baaaa-aaaaaa! Aubrie looked up at me in surprise and with all seriousness exclaimed, "Mom! You know how to speak Goat!??!"
and then this photo speaks for itself...
In Our Homeschool This Week... the task cards are working beautifully! Next weeks cards are already printed and ready to go! I've been "shopping the thrift stores" all week getting things for the school room and I am loving how it's all coming together! Brent is still working on the bookshelves and the bed platform (that will lift up to provide more storage underneath)... but the kids are LOVING spending time in there snuggled up reading on the bed or playing games on the floor...
Spiritually Speaking... At church today, I beheld a site that was so beautiful! In fact, I had to lean over to John and have him witness what I was seeing. Up at the front (before church started) there was August and Seth - both so handsome in their crisp white shirts and ties - respectfully preparing the Sacrament table. I was so filled with love and happiness that both of the boys are worthy to hold the Priesthood and that they are willing to carry out their duties. I reflected back to when the boys were just little and now they are preparing the Sacrament together! I sure do love them!!
