* August went out with the Missionaries
* August worked 6 days at his new job at Dairy Queen
* Daily workouts with the family (4 of the days were at the YMCA). The kids would walk/run for 1.5-2 miles and then go play in the Kids Zone (where there is workout equipment specifically for kids 7-13) and then Ben and Mom would do 30+ minutes on circuit training.
* Youth Temple Trip down to Bismarck on Saturday. Ben, Dad and Seth attended.
* Mom went Visiting Teaching
* Mom had a Girls Night (a Farewell Get Together for Kameka Landon)
In Our Homeschool This Week...
* Daily Enrichments learning out of "Preach My Gospel"
* August and Seth working on their BYUI classes
* August continuing on with Algebra 2 and Biology
* Ben spent 2-3 hours a day adding to his book, "INFECTED"
* The girls are improving in their reading and I have them read to me each night (for bedtime) 20-30 each
* Reading 26th Story Treehouse to Ben and Nathan
* I found this REALLY neat website/App called "Bedtime Math" that has real world applications for math from PreK to about 5/6th grade level. The kids really love it and so we spend some time each evening with it
Spiritually Speaking...
It made my heart so happy this week seeing my 3 handsome men heading off to the Temple (if August hadn't had to work, he would have gone too!). Knowing that they are keeping themselves worthy and that they have the desire to serve the Lord just makes me so grateful for the men they are growing up to be (and of course for the awesome man dad already is!). I know that when we draw close to the Lord and serve him (by going to the Temple, helping others, fulfilling our church callings, being a good friend and following Christ's example) that we are blessed with joy and happiness in this life!
