* Grandma and Grandpa Carlson came for their summer visit! The time passed too quickly but we had lots of fun hitting the thrift stores, trying new recipes, reading The Message while rocking on the front porch, going to the track and exercising and just spending time together! A major accomplishment while they were here was shopping for Seth's Mission (and we are now 99% done!)
* We made a trip out to Idaho to attend Grandma Great Leona's funeral. It was a beautiful service and I loved hearing about what a wonderful woman she was and so strong in her faith! All of the family was able to make it and so we took a few family pictures after the funeral.
Spiritually Speaking...
*The past few weeks have been filled with so many tender mercies and spiritual experiences - the most notable being Seth going through the Temple to take out his Endowment. It was a Thursday night and we had a wonderful time! We are so proud of Seth and his desire to always seek truth and righteousness! A week later, he was able to attend a session at the Boise Temple - another beautiful experience!
*Seth has also been called and set apart as a Temple Ordinance worker for the Billings Temple. He will work in the Temple each Saturday from 10:30-4pm. The Temple President set him apart and gave him a blessing.
* Mom also received another calling at church. In addition to working in the Cub Scout program, she will also teach Primary on Sundays.
* Ben is off to Martins Cove for Trek! He was really excited to go and I hope he has some amazing experiences while there! He is trekking for his ancestor - Willis Young who came across with the Pioneers in a Wagon Train.
