* To save on the outlandish shipping fees to Nicaragua, mom has been busily getting Seth's Christmas package put together to mail to the MTC so that Seth can just carry it with him in his suitcase!
* Dad scored at a Garage Sale!! He came home with: 18.5" 12-gauge barrel for his Mossberg (retail: $120), a Craftsman Drill Press (retail $200), a Ryobi Router table with router (retail: $175), an Anvil (retail $75), a dresser for August and Correll dishes that coordinate with the ones we already have. Total money spent for all of that.... $30!!!

In Our Homeschool This Week...
* Writing Lectures for Ben
* We finished up reading Treasure Island
* Rob (the owner of the house we rent) was in Billings for the week and he wanted to stop by to check things out. So we did some "Fall Deep Cleaning" and filed it under Home Ec!

Spiritually Speaking...
I wanted to report on the last two weeks since incorporating the "Daily Family Prayer, Scriptures, Dinner and Weekly FHE" chart!
First of all - we have NOT missed a single item! That means for the past 14 days we have had these daily drops of goodness within our family. Have we noticed any difference? Well, I will say that just 2 days ago Ben came up to me and said "Have you noticed that the house has really been peaceful?" Yes, Ben. Yes, I have!

Also, Lexi gave a talk today in Primary. She did a real nice job! Here is what she said:

Heavenly Father hears and answers the prayers of his little children. He loves us and wants to hear from us.
There was a time when I said a prayer and Heavenly Father answered right away! I was driving in the Suburban with my mom and Aubrie. We were in the middle of the highway when the car broke down. We were in a dangerous place because another car could come and hit us. My mom said that we should all say a prayer and so we did. Immediately the car started back up and we were  kept safe. I know Heavenly Father protected us. I am also glad that my mom has taught me to pray whenever I need help. We can also pray to tell Heavenly Father that we are thankful for the things that he has blessed us with. Things like our houses, our toys, our cars - everything in the world! When we are grateful it makes Him happy.

I hope that we can all remember to pray to Heavenly Father each day.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
